Unlike the more intense Budo Sansho, Asakura Sansho offers a fresher, more delicate profile with subtle notes of verbena and lemongrass. Combined with vibrant yuzu, it creates a balanced paste with bright citrus freshness, gentle peppery spice, and a distinctive aromatic finish.
Use
Ideal for enhancing marinades, dressings, sauces, and vinaigrettes. It pairs beautifully with grilled or poached fish, shellfish, smoked salmon, white and red meats, beef or veal tartare, salads, vegetables, and other Japanese or contemporary dishes requiring a fresh citrus and pepper finish.
