Produced in County Cavan, Ireland, Thornhill Whole Dry-Plucked Duck comes from a premium Aylesbury–Pekin cross specially bred for its rich flavour, tender meat and naturally sweet taste. Dry-plucked to preserve the soft, velvety texture of the skin, it is ideal for achieving a crisp, golden finish when roasted. As the ducks are not vacuum packed, they retain their natural shape and presentation, making them an excellent choice for whole roasting, smoking, or breaking down into breasts, legs and carcasses for a wide range of professional kitchen applications, including confit, rich stocks and sauces.
