Pan de Cristal, known as "Glass Bread", originates from the Catalonia region of Spain. This Mediterranean-style bread is characterised by its exceptionally open crumb structure, thin crust and high hydration dough. Lighter, crispier and airier than a traditional ciabatta, it offers delicate malt notes and a subtle olive oil flavour.
The golden crust and light, honeycombed interior make it ideal for gourmet sandwiches, bruschetta, tapas and premium foodservice applications.
