RETURNS POLICY

This Returns Policy applies to goods supplied by Redmond Fine Foods Limited and should be read together with Redmond Fine Foods Limited’s Terms and Conditions of Business.

Where goods include machinery, appliances, technical products or specialist kitchen equipment, Redmond Fine Foods Limited’s Equipment Sales, Warranty & Service Terms may also apply.

1. Inspection on Delivery
1. Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
2. The Customer must check that goods are correct, complete, undamaged and suitable for acceptance.

2. Reporting Window
3. Any shortages, damages, temperature issues, incorrect items or discrepancies must be reported to Redmond Fine Foods Limited within 24 hours of delivery.
4. Claims reported outside this period may be refused, except where otherwise required by law.

3. Perishable Goods
5. Perishable goods cannot be returned unless delivered damaged, incorrect or otherwise compromised at the time of delivery.
6. Perishable goods include chilled, frozen, fresh, temperature-sensitive, short-life or other goods liable to deteriorate.
7. Once accepted on delivery, responsibility for correct storage, handling and temperature control passes to the Customer.

4. Non-Perishable Goods
8. Non-perishable goods may be considered for return only where they are unused, unopened, complete, undamaged, in original packaging and suitable for resale.
9. All returns require prior approval from Redmond Fine Foods Limited.
10. The Customer must not return goods without receiving return approval and instructions from Redmond Fine Foods Limited.

5. Pre-Order and Special-Order Items
11. Products supplied on a pre-order, special-order, imported, customised, made-to-order or customer-requested basis are deemed accepted by the Customer at the time of ordering.
12. Except where goods are delivered damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise compromised, such items cannot be cancelled, returned or refused, and the Customer remains responsible for receipt and full payment of the order.

6. Equipment and Technical Goods
13. Returns of machinery, appliances, electrical goods, mechanical goods, technical products, specialist kitchen equipment, accessories, spare parts or other equipment are also subject to Redmond Fine Foods Limited’s Equipment Sales, Warranty & Service Terms.
14. No equipment may be returned without prior written approval from Redmond Fine Foods Limited.
15. Equipment must be returned clean, safe to handle, complete, protected, properly packed and with all accessories, trays, cables, parts, manuals and packaging where available.

7. Condition of Returned Goods
16. Returned goods must be clean, complete, protected, properly packed and returned in suitable condition.
17. Redmond Fine Foods Limited may refuse a return, reduce any credit, or charge the Customer for missing items, cleaning, reconditioning, damage, reduced resale value, freight, handling, inspection, labour, parts, supplier charges, courier charges, storage or administration costs.

8. Resolution
18. Following review and inspection where applicable, Redmond Fine Foods Limited may issue a credit note, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.
19. Any credit, replacement or refund is subject to inspection, approval and the condition of the returned goods.

9. Discretion
20. Acceptance of any return remains at the discretion of Redmond Fine Foods Limited, except where otherwise required by law.
21. Acceptance of a return in one case does not oblige Redmond Fine Foods Limited to accept similar returns in the future.

10. Statutory Rights
22. Nothing in this Returns Policy affects any legal rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
