Whole Ancho Dried Chillies, 500g

Anchos are dried red poblanos (variety of chilli) and are used for sauces. They are also used in the traditional Mexican chocolate sauce "Mole Poblano". The name Poblano means something like "from Pueblo", a city in Mexico. Heat the dried pods first on a dry pan, to unlock all its aromas.
